Nagaur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah's chariot narrowly escaped being hit by the current in Nagaur, Rajasthan. The upper portion of Amit Shah's chariot collided with a power line in Parbatsar, Nagaur. The incident occurred when HM Shah's cavalcade was moving to Parbatsar from Bidiyad village to address an election rally.

Nagaur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s chariot narrowly escaped being hit by the current in Nagaur, Rajasthan. The upper portion of Amit Shah’s chariot collided with a power line in Parbatsar, Nagaur. The incident happened when HM Shah’s cavalcade was moving to Parbatsar from Bidiyad village to address an election rally.

The upper part of the ‘rath’ (bus) came into contact with the electric wire, causing a spark. Immediately after this incident, he was sent away in another vehicle. A video of this incident also surfaced. Shah addressed three rallies in Parbatsar of Kuchaman, Makrana and Nagaur in support of party candidates for the November 25 assembly elections in Rajasthan.

While passing through a street with shops and houses on both sides in Parbatsar, the upper part of his ‘rath’ (specially designed vehicle) touched the power line, causing sparks and breaking the wire. At around 4.20 pm, after performing Chaupal in Bidiyad village, the Home Minister boarded the chariot while going for a meeting at the Ganesh temple of Parbatsar.

After going a kilometer further from there, the upper part of the chariot collided with the power line due to the wires hanging below. When Discom officials reached the spot after the accident, electricity in the entire area remained shut for about an hour.Chief Minister Gehlot told journalists in the press conference in Jaipur that orders will be given to investigate the incident. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the incident will be investigated.
