According to the police, Ajit Meena, who had appeared for the NEET exam for the third time, failed once again. The devastating result led him to take this extreme step. On the evening of the results, Ajit informed his parents that he was going to the e-mitra centre but did not return home. Concerned, his parents lodged a missing person complaint at the local police station.

Police station in-charge Sohan Lal reported that Ajit’s body was discovered on the railway tracks near an overbridge on the Agra-Jaipur highway. The identification was confirmed shortly after.
