A clash broke out between two parties over illegal construction on land in Sursagar Jodhpur, Rajasthan. When the police reached the spot and tried to control the situation, the police team was attacked with petrol bombs. After this the police called additional forces and brought the situation under control. It is being told that this land dispute case is 15 years old.

Severe heatwave conditions, exceeding a blazing 45 degrees Celsius, were observed in some parts of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday (May 18). IMD said that Barmer in Rajasthan experienced a scorching high of 46.9 degrees Celsius. Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh also recorded a searing 46.9 degrees Celsius.
