The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has outlined the enthronement of Ram Lalla at noon on January 22, with Vedic rituals commencing on January 16, a week before the main ceremony.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to preside over the ceremonial installation of Shri Ram Lalla inside the sanctum sanctorum, announcing an 11-day ‘anushthan’ leading up to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

A team of priests, led by Lakshmikant Dixit, will conduct the main rituals on January 22, accompanied by an Amrit Mahotsav in Ayodhya from January 14 to January 22.

The grand event has invited 7,000 guests, with expectations of over three lakh daily visitors in the coming years. The town’s redevelopment plan draws inspiration from global examples such as Vatican City, Cambodia, and Jerusalem, as well as Indian cities like Tirupati and Amritsar. The master planner, Dikshu Kukreja, emphasizes efficient land use, minimal congestion, and a balance between infrastructure upgrades and preservation of historical and cultural character.
