Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has convened a meeting in Lucknow to review preparations for the Pran Pratistha (consecration) of Lord Ram at the upcoming Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, scheduled for January 22. The meeting, scheduled today, will be attended by Ayodhya in-charge minister Surya Pratap Shahi.

As Ayodhya gears up for the historic consecration ceremony, a seven-day ritual process is set to commence on January 16 and continue until the momentous day. The event will witness the seating of the idol of Ram Lalla (Lord Ram in his childlike form) in the grand temple, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi expected to participate.
The schedule released by the Temple trust outlines key events for each day:
January 16: Atonement by the temple trust-appointed host, Dashavid bath on the banks of the river Saryu, Vishnu worship, and Godan.
January 17: Procession with the idol of Ramlala, devotees carrying Saryu water in Mangal Kalash.
January 18: Formal rituals including Ganesh Ambika Puja, Varun Puja, Matrika Puja, Brahmin Varan, and Vastu Puja.
January 19: Agni Sthapana, Navagraha Sthapana, and Havan.
January 20: Washing the sanctum sanctorum with holy water, Vaastu Shanti, and Annadhivas.
January 21: Divine bath with 125 urns, Shayadhivas.
January 22: Morning worship followed by the consecration of the Ramallah deity in Mrigashira Nakshatra in the afternoon.
