Kejriwal, who is the Delhi Chief Minister, asked for an urgent hearing in the Supreme Court, but it wasn’t approved right away. The top court said they wouldn’t form a special bench and told Kejriwal to email his plea to the Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud.
Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) keeps saying the BJP-led government is behind the liquor scam accusations to target Kejriwal and harm their party.
In another news, AAP faced a setback as its minister Raaj Kumar Anand resigned from all party roles. Anand stated he wasn’t scared of the ED and stressed that no corruption happened in the liquor scam.
With these events unfolding, tensions between AAP and the BJP are rising, with both sides arguing over the liquor scam and its impact on Kejriwal’s political future.
