Pulwama: In a strategic move that marked a significant victory against anti-state elements, three persons were arrested on December 25, 2023, in a joint operation conducted by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir (J-K) Police. This operation took place in Panju and Gamiraj areas located in Pulwama district.

The operation was called Joint Cordon and Search Operation (CASO), which resulted in the seizure of two pistols and other munitions from the detainees. The suspicious package dropped by the drone contained a pistol, six improvised explosive devices (IEDs), a grenade, a magazine, bullets and cash. The findings underline the persistent efforts to disturb peace and stability in the region.
