The event is expected to be attended by a large number of people, including important figures from the Congress party, strengthening its political significance. State DGP Ravi Gupta has personally inspected the venue to ensure seamless execution of the grand event.

As the clock approaches 1.04 pm, the auspicious time chosen for the swearing-in ceremony, anticipation increases. Around one lakh people are expected to be in attendance at the event, turning the LB Stadium into a sea of humanity. The guest list includes high-profile politicians, including Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, leaders from various states and political personalities from neighboring states. Even former chief minister KCR is expected to grace the event, indicating a sense of political gamesmanship amid the changing tides.

Security beefed up in Hyderabad
State DGP Ravi Gupta said all possible suitable arrangements have been made for traffic and others so that there is minimum inconvenience to the public. Some VVIPs attending the event would land at the Rajiv Gandhi International airport on city outskirts, while others would arrive at Begumpet airport and arrangements would be made for their security, he said.

Meanwhile, Security tightened across Hyderabad and arrangements for the smooth handling of the event are in full swing at the venue.

In a video shared by sources, senior Telangana Police officials were seen reviewing security arrangements at the venue, a day before the swearing-in ceremony.

Increasing the prominence of the event, the Congress party is making concerted efforts to turn the swearing-in ceremony into an ‘India show’. Invitations have been extended to I.N.D.I.A block leaders including Mamata Banerjee and MK Stalin. Chief Minister-designate Revanth Reddy has contacted various I.N.D.I.A block leaders and discussed with party seniors about the composition of his cabinet.

Reddy will be the second Chief Minister of Telangana. Since Telangana came into existence as a new state about a decade ago, Bharat Rashtra Samithi chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao was the Chief Minister. Congress defeated BRAS in the assembly elections. The party got 64 seats in the 119-member assembly, while BRS had to be content with 39 seats.

Following the victory of the Congress party in the recent assembly elections, the swearing-in ceremony of Revanth Reddy will cement his position as the Chief Minister of Telangana. The AICC leadership has confirmed Reddy as the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader and the next Chief Minister of Telangana, making him the first Congress Chief Minister of the state.
