Lucknow: In a significant move for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, seven BJP candidates submitted their nomination papers in Lucknow on Wednesday, with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in attendance.
The list of nominees includes former Union Minister RPN Singh, former MP Chaudhary Tejveer Singh, state party general secretary Amarpal Maurya, former state minister Sangeeta Balwant, party spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi, former MLA Sadhna Singh, and former Agra mayor Naveen Jain.
The presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, state BJP president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, along with BJP UP Lok Sabha in-charge Baijyant Panda, marked the occasion of filing the nominations. This move underscores the party’s commitment to the forthcoming elections and emphasizes the importance of these candidates in the political landscape.
