Siddipet: In a crash caught on camera in Telangana, four people sustained serious injuries after a speeding car toppled over the road divider and hit another car coming from the opposite direction at Timmareddypally village in Kondapak Mandal on Monday evening.
According to Kondapak Police, Karimnagar Dairy advisor, recognised as 48-year-old Hanumantha Reddy, along with his driver Prasanth (34) and staff member Shoban (44) were proceeding towards Karimnagar from Hyderabad on Rajiv Rahadari when the car went out of control and toppled over the road divider and hit the other car.
An alleged CCTV video shows the car hitting the road divider, reportedly after the driver lost control, and crashing into a car on the opposite side.
The impact was such that the car was flung into the air after it hit the other vehicle, the video shows. Both the cars were damaged.
According to officials, four people were injured. Two are believed to be critical.
The video doing rounds on social media days after a BRS MLA, Lasya Nandita, was killed in a crash in Hyderabad. The 37-year-old politician’s car collided with a divider on a road in Sangareddy on Friday.
