Nusrat Ansari, the daughter of SP candidate Afzal Ansari and sister of Mukhtar Ansari, might also enter the electoral race from the Ghazipur seat. Afzal Ansari hinted at this possibility during a meeting of the India Alliance at the party office.

He expressed confidence in his daughter’s capabilities, emphasizing that women are equally capable and just need the opportunity to prove themselves. He mentioned that they are open to enrolling her candidacy at any time.

Afzal Ansari mentioned that in the past, Mukhtar Ansari had filed a nomination as their “dummy candidate,” suggesting that others could do the same.

The upcoming Ghazipur election is getting intense, with parties like the BJP and SP involving their daughters in campaigning.

Nusrat Ansari has begun actively participating in her father’s campaign, visiting temples and engaging with the public. Her presence at events like the Shiva temple visit and interactions at Pavhari Baba Ashram has sparked discussions in political circles.

Similarly, Vandana Rai, daughter of BJP candidate Parasnath Rai, is also actively involved in her father’s campaign, reaching out to voters and garnering support. She recently conducted door-to-door campaigns and engaged in public relations activities in Gram Panchayat Abisahan of Mardah Southern Division.
