Rahul Gandhi rally stage collapse: Voting for the last phase of Lok Sabha elections is yet to take place and the election campaign is also in full swing regarding this. Voting is also to be held in Patliputra Lok Sabha seat of Bihar’s capital Patna in the last phase i.e. on June 1. Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav and other leaders reached Paliganj in Patliputra Lok Sabha constituency to address the public meeting organized for the election campaign for India Alliance candidate Misa Bharti for this phase of voting.

Lalu Yadav’s elder daughter and Tejashwi’s sister Misa Bharti is the candidate from Patliputra Lok Sabha seat. Rahul Gandhi had reached Paliganj to campaign for Misa Bharti. As soon as Rahul Gandhi reached the stage with Tejashwi Yadav and other leaders to address the public meeting, the stage suddenly broke. Misa Bharti supported Rahul by holding his hand.

The video of the collapse of the stage is going viral on social media. After some time, SPG security personnel also arrived but Rahul Gandhi said that he was fine. After this the security personnel inspected the stage.

Voting is going to be held on 57 seats for the seventh and final phase of Lok Sabha elections on June 1. The 57 seats where voting is to be held in the seventh phase include seven states and one union territory. The political parties contesting the elections for the last phase have put in all their might.

Voting has taken place on 486 out of 543 seats in the six phases of Lok Sabha elections and voting for the seventh phase is pending. Bihar has a total of 40 Lok Sabha seats and Patliputra is considered a hot seat among those seats. There is a close contest between the India Grand Alliance and the NDA in Bihar.
