Vande Bharat Express Update: There has been stone pelting on Vande Bharat Express again. This time the miscreants have targeted the Mysuru-Chennai Vande Bharat Express in Bengaluru.

Bengaluru: In yet another tragic incident, stone pelting on Vande Bharat Express once again came to fore from Karnataka. This time the miscreants have targeted the Mysuru-Chennai Vande Bharat Express in Bengaluru. Due to this, two windows of the train have been damaged. The incident took place between Krishnarajapuram and Bengaluru Cantonment railway stations. No one has been reported injured in the attack. Railway Police has registered the case.

South Western Railway said, “Two windows of a coach of train number 20608 Mysore-Chennai ‘Vande Bharat Express’ were damaged when some miscreants pelted stones at the train. The incident took place today between Krishnarajapuram and Bengaluru Cantonment railway stations.

In recent times, many incidents of stone pelting on ‘Vande Bharat Express’ have come to the fore. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has registered 21 cases of stone pelting on trains in January and 13 in February in the Bengaluru division of South Western Railway. Many similar incidents have also come to the fore from other parts of the country.
