Stockholm: A 15-year-old boy was killed and three others injured in a shooting in Stockholm, Sweden, on Saturday.
Police received a report of shots fired near an intersection in southern Stockholm on Saturday evening. After which the police reached the spot and found people injured by gunshots on the spot.
According to the information received, one teenager died in the shooting in Stockholm, while others were admitted to the hospital.
Two men were arrested after a car chase south of Stockholm within an hour of the shooting, he said. With this, the police have started the investigation of murder and attempt to murder.
Earlier on Friday, three other people were injured in two separate shootings in Stockholm. Sweden has struggled to contain a rise in shootings and bombings in recent years. According to police data, the country recorded 391 shooting incidents in 2022. Of which 62 incidents were fatal.
