Lucknow: In the year 2023, the first case of death from Covid-19 has come to light in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. So far this case of death due to the latest variant of Omicron is visible in the state. An old woman died of corona in the capital on Wednesday late night. This is the first death this year due to Covid-19.
At the same time, according to the data released on Thursday by the Health Department, 35 people have been infected in the last 24 hours. There is an increase in corona cases in NCR as well. Infections are continuously increasing in Noida and Ghaziabad. Special guidelines are being issued by the administration regarding this.
According to CMO Dr. Manoj Aggarwal, a 60-year-old elderly woman resident of Vrindavan Colony was admitted to Asia Hospital due to difficulty in breathing.
When there was no improvement, he was admitted to Apollo Hospital on 2 April, where corona infection was confirmed. The family members reached the KGMU Covid Center with her on 4th April. She died late on Wednesday night. On the other hand, two pregnant women and one elderly have been found covid infected in Lokbandhu Hospital.
The main reason for the increasing cases of corona is that the infected are not isolated. This type of problem has increased due to the exit of corona infected.
There is a continuous appeal from the Health Department that the infected patients should keep themselves isolated. Even if they don’t have a problem, they still have to isolate themselves like any other wave. By this other people can be saved from getting infected. This entire matter is being closely monitored by the Health Department.
