Updated Syllabus Released for Undergraduate Medical Entrance Exam

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has unveiled the revised syllabus for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate courses. Aspiring candidates who have registered for the medical entrance exam can access the updated syllabus on the official website of the NTA.

In an official notification posted on the NTA website, the agency stated, “It is notified to all stakeholders, especially aspiring candidates, that the Under Graduate Medical Education Board, an autonomous body under the National Medical Commission, has finalized the NEET (UG)-2024 syllabus. Stakeholders are advised to refer to the updated syllabus for NEET (UG)-2024 for the preparation of study material and NEET (UG) examinations for the academic session 2024-25.”

The revised syllabus for NEET UG is also available on the official website of the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Scheduled for May 5, 2024, the NEET UG exam serves as a common and uniform medical examination, facilitating admission to undergraduate medical courses nationwide. The exam is the gateway for securing admission to the MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER, and all other government institutions.
