Vadodara: Four workers hospitalized after inhaling toxic gas leaked from pipeline in pharma factory

Gujarat: On Tuesday, an official said that four workers hospitalised after inhaling toxic gas leaked from a pipeline in Vadodara-based pharma factory. After receiving information about this incident local police reached on the spot.

After this incident, an officer monitoring the incident said that the condition of all the workers is stable. He said that the incident of gas leakage happened around 8 am.

The cause of the gas leak has not been ascertained yet. Officer said that many employees were present in the premises of the factory located in Nandesari GIDC area at the time of the incident.

The official said that work was going on to separate a damaged pipe from its joint when the gas leaked. Four workers present there complained of gas leakage, after which they were taken to hospital and their condition is stable
