Vote for BJP,Complimentary Darshan of Ramlala in Ayodhya,” Says Amit Shah in MP

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, assured voters in Madhya Pradesh that if the BJP is re-elected in the state, the government will facilitate a free visit for the people to have darshan (sight) of Ramlala in Ayodhya. Addressing multiple rallies in the run-up to the elections, Shah emphasized the ongoing renovations of religious sites under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Shah spoke about the extensive efforts to revitalize religious places, including the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the Kashi Vishwanath corridor, and the Mahakal Lok. He criticized the Congress for allegedly disrespecting Indian culture and pilgrimage centers, attributing these accomplishments to Prime Minister Modi.

Highlighting the historical significance of the Ram Temple, Shah remarked on the delays in addressing the issue during Congress rule and credited Modi for initiating the Bhoomi poojan (ground-breaking ceremony). He also criticized the Congress leadership in Madhya Pradesh, accusing three families of ruining the state but commended the BJP for transforming it into a developing state.

Shah further contrasted the financial support received by the state under the UPA government with the assistance provided by PM Modi’s government, emphasizing the significant increase in funds during the latter’s tenure.

In Datia, Shah pointed out the eradication of dacoit gangs since the BJP came to power in 2003, contributing to peace and prosperity in the region. He credited PM Modi with securing the country’s borders and highlighted the swift response to terrorism, particularly in the Uri and Pulwama attacks.

Shah also mentioned the government’s actions against organizations like the Popular Front of India (PFI) and its members, along with initiatives such as the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, the passage of the CAA bill, and the abolition of triple talaq.

In response, state Congress spokesperson Santosh Gautam accused Shah of violating the model code of conduct by allegedly stirring religious sentiments. He suggested that these actions reflected the BJP’s anticipation of an impending defeat in the state elections.
