Watch viral video of ticketless woman fearlessly denies to vacate reserved seat, argues with men

New Delhi: A woman travelling without a ticket on a train refused to vacate a seat that she forcefully occupied and dauntlessly argued with co-passengers instead as seen in a video that has surfaced online. Not only has the woman’s behaviour enraged several sections of the internet but the Indian Railways also responded to the viral video on X.

“Meri seat nahi hai (It is not my seat),” she admitted without batting an eyelid, upon being questioned by the passenger whose reserved seat she had occupied. The man requested her to vacate but, in vain. “Aap TTE (Traveling Ticket Examiner) ko bulaiyye. TTE aayega, tab baat karenge (Call the TTE. I will speak to him),” she said, in a rather rude tone.

The passenger in question, who was also recording the video of the woman, asked her to leave the seat and wait near it. But, she refused, and instead lashed out at other passengers in a rather disrespectful manner when asked to vacate the seat.

“Main sunnewaali nahi hoon. Main baithi hoon, yahin baithungi. Khade raho, bolte raho. Mujhe koi farq nahi padhta. Kardo complain (I am not going to listen. I will sit here. You can keep standing there, keep on talking. I don’t care. Go ahead and complain).”

The short video posted by Shonee Kapoor has gone viral with 279.6k views so far.

Railway Seva, the official account for support to passengers, asked for details for further investigation.

In the comments section of the now-viral post, social media users censured the woman for her “vile” behaviour. “I can bet this is not the first time she did that,” a user said. Another X user said, “Reserved seat has become a joke nowadays.”

In a similar incident in February, a young woman received immediate help from Indian Railways after her sister complained on X of co-passengers occupying her seat and refusing to vacate it. Railway Seva responded to the post soon after as authorities helped her out.
