In the midst of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched a vehement assault on the Congress party, alleging its propagation of falsehoods concerning reservation policies.
During the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, unleashed a scathing rebuke on the Congress, accusing it of undermining the Constitution crafted by Babasaheb Ambedkar. He strongly contested a recent tweet by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, claiming that the BJP harbors intentions to revoke reservation rights for Dalits, backward classes, and tribals.

Adityanath remarked, “There cannot be a bigger lie than this.” He highlighted the historical context, asserting that the Congress and other INDI alliance parties have a track record of stifling the Constitution crafted by Babasaheb Ambedkar. Adityanath pointed to the Congress’s history of encroaching upon freedom of expression and attempting to alter the Constitution to suit its interests, citing the infamous Emergency period.

Regarding the leadership of the Congress, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh declared it as a complete failure. He pointed out instances of individuals leaving the party, state presidents resigning from their positions, declared candidates defecting to the BJP, and incomplete nomination filings. Adityanath stressed that the public is cognizant of the true intentions of Congress, Samajwadi Party, and I.N.D.I alliance leaders, vowing to thwart their agendas.
