Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the ‘Know Your Army Festival’ at the Surya Sports Complex in Lucknow ahead of the upcoming Army Day on January 15. The three-day exhibition showcases a variety of modern weapons of the Indian Army, including tanks, artillery guns, and radars. In a video, CM Yogi Adityanath can be seen holding a gun during the inauguration.

CM Yogi Adityanath expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and the Indian Army for organizing the event, highlighting the Indian Army as a symbol of the valor of the nation’s 140 crore people.
Know Your Army Festival Inaugurates in Lucknow. The festival includes displays of various military equipment, such as the T-90 tank, T-70 tank, Akashvani artillery gun, 9 Vajra, Weapon Locating Radar Swathi, and the 155mm artillery gun. Additionally, the exhibition features uniforms, modern machine guns, pistols, rocket launchers, and more.

The ‘Know Your Army Festival’ will run from January 5 to January 7 at the Surya Sports Complex in the cantonment area. The entry timings are from 10 AM to 4 PM. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about army recruitment, and a help desk has been set up to provide information about various aspects, including NDA and CDS entrance exams. The Youth Help Desk aims to guide individuals on becoming an ‘Agniveer’ and provide insights into the recruitment process in the Army.
