Noida: On Friday, an official said that a 30-year-old man was allegedly shot by three bike-borne individuals inside his car in Noida Sector 104. The man was identified as Suraj Bhan. Initial reports suggest he was a gym trainer and was likely associated with Air India as a crew member.
Noida Police told media,”Sector-39 Police Station was informed about the incident occurred in Sector 104. Victim Suraj Bhan was returning from a gym named ‘Anytime Fitness’, and was fired at as soon as he sat in his car.” Official added that the three unknown individuals opened fire at the 30-year-old man in broad daylight while he was returning from a gym.
The accused fired five rounds of bullets before fleeing from the site. Police said, “Victim succumbed to gunshots on his way to the hospital, Police is examining the crime spot. Body has been sent for post-mortem, Police has formed 4 teams to probe the incident.”
After receiving information about this incident, a police team reached the spot and the man was taken to hospital, but he died. According to the police, Surajbhan was shot as soon as he sat in the car. After the incident, Police said that the body of Surajbhan has been sent for post-mortem and a case of murder has been registered in connection with the shooting.
Noida DCP Harish Chander said, “A man named Surajbhan was returning from the gym. As soon as he sat inside his car, some people shot him and he died before reaching the hospital.” Four different police teams are investigating and CCTV footage is also being scrutinized as part of the investigation.
