Afghanistan Floods: Rain wreaks havoc in Afghanistan, 14 people died due to floods

Afghanistan: At least 14 people have died, while 150 houses have been partially or completely destroyed due to continuous heavy rains for the last three days in the country. Afghanistan: At least 14 people have died, while 150 houses have been partially or completely destroyed due to continuous heavy rains for the last three days in the country. After this there has been a flood situation. Due to the flood, the country is also facing huge financial losses, roads in many cities have been temporarily blocked.

About this,State Ministry of Disaster Management Affairs said that floods following heavy rains in Afghanistan have killed at least 14 people and resulted in widespread destruction across the country.

According to ministry spokesman Janan Sak, floods and rains in 14 provinces have destroyed 140 residential houses and killed more than 2,000 livestock. He said that in the past three days, due to rains, about 14 of our fellow citizens have died and one person is missing. 140 houses have either been completely or partially destroyed.

Taliban Public Works Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ashraf Haqshen said that some roads in Afghanistan’s Badakhshan, Takhar, Ghor and Nuristan provinces have been temporarily blocked due to landslides and floods. These routes have been temporarily closed to traffic due to floods and landslides.

Due to the incessant rains, residents of several areas have reported major financial losses they have suffered as a result of the floods and are demanding the interim government to address their concerns. Lands and bridges have been destroyed. Houses have also been damaged. We hope the government will help our fellow citizens who are stranded, said a resident of Farah province.
