The police spokesman said that the injured were taken to the hospital. This is the second traffic accident in the last four days.
Earlier, at least two people were killed and nine others were injured in an accident in Wardak province on Friday, according to Khama Press. Meanwhile, one person was killed and three others were injured in a traffic accident in Parwan province, Press reported. A car collided with a motorcycle in the Sar-e-Khwaja Sayaran area of Charikar city in Parwan province, according to a statement.
Khama Press quoted officials from the Provincial Security Command as saying that the bike rider was killed in the accident, while three others, including a woman, were injured. In another accident, at least one person was killed and five others were injured when a minibus overturned in Afghanistan’s Central Province on Wednesday.
Experts have said that Afghanistan has seen an increase in traffic accidents due to reckless driving, poorly maintained automobiles, broken and unpaved roads and disregard for traffic rules.
