New Delhi: Big B i.e. superstar Amitabh Bachchan will be honored with Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award. Mangeshkar family announced this on Tuesday. The family and trust had started this award in the memory of Lata Mangeshkar, who passed away on February 6, 2022. This honor will be given to 81-year-old Amitabh Bachchan on April 24, on the memorial day of Lata Mangeshkar’s father and music legend Deenanath Mangeshkar.
Known as the Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award, this award is given every year to an individual who has made pioneering contributions to the nation, its people and society. This award was first given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After this, in 2023 it was given to Lata Mangeshkar’s sister Asha Bhosle.
