Visakhapatnam: On Thursday, Three people were killed after a truck collided with a van in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The Accident occurred in Akkireddypalem of Pendurti in Visakhapatnam on Thursday morning.
The police official said that 10 others were injured in this incident. The deceased were identified as Hanumantu Ananda Rao (45), Hanumantu Shekhar Rao (15), and Chintadi Indu (65).
Official added that they were travelling in the van when it collided with a truck, killing them and injuring several others. They belonged to West Godavari district.
After receiving information about this incident local people reached on the spot and informed to the police. The official said that those injured were swiftly transported to hospital for treatment. He added that Police have initiated further investigation into the accident.
