Andhra Pradesh: A major fire breaks out at godown in Vijayawada, property worth Rs 5 cr lost

Andhra Pradesh: On Thursday, officials said that a major fire broke out at a godown in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. After receiving information about this incident local police and fire tenders reached on the spot.

Official said that Upon receiving an alert about the incident, several fire tenders were rushed to the spot, which brought the fire under control. However, No casualties were reported in the incident.

According to the police, the incident took place in the Bandar Road area of the city, where a medical godown was gutted in the fire. Official said that at least Rs five crore of loss reported in this incident.

Regarding the incident, Vijayawada senior fire officer G Srinivasulu said, “As soon as we received the information, we rushed to the spot… There are no reports of any injuries or casualties.”
