Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has filed a fresh plea in the Delhi High Court seeking safeguard against any coercive measures amid allegations surrounding the excise policy case. The case revolves around accusations of corruption and money laundering linked to the formulation and execution of Delhi’s excise policy for 2021-22, which was subsequently annulled.

Senior advocate Abhishek Singhvi, representing Kejriwal, emphasized his client’s willingness to cooperate with the ED but stressed the necessity for protection from coercive actions, particularly given the agency’s purported intentions amid upcoming elections.
