Arvind Kejriwal Set to Strengthen AAP’s Grassroots in Haryana with November 5 Visit

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to visit Haryana on November 5, marking his second trip in two months, as part of the party’s strategy to expand its grassroots presence. Kejriwal will administer oaths to approximately 6,500 volunteers recently appointed as party secretaries for villages and presidents of wards in towns and cities across the state.

Haryana AAP Senior Vice President Anurag Dhanda confirmed the event’s date and mentioned that the venue is yet to be finalized but will be a central location within the state. Previously, on September 3, Kejriwal had administered oaths to nearly 4,000 local office-bearers during his visit to Bhiwani.

Each new office-bearer has been assigned as a circle in-charge responsible for overseeing five wards in urban areas or five villages in rural regions. Dhanda added that the previously sworn-in 4,000 volunteers would also attend the upcoming event on November 5. Additionally, a 21-member committee has been formed for each village and urban ward, totaling nearly 7,500 committees. The party plans to host a mega event in the coming months, inviting these committee members as well.

According to Dhanda, AAP has made organizational appointments at all levels in Haryana, including state office-bearers and block-level presidents. The party is gearing up to contest all 10 Lok Sabha and 90 Assembly seats in the state.

Kejriwal, who shares a deep connection with Haryana as he hails from Siwani town in Bhiwani, has been vocal about the need for change in the state. He urges party workers to emphasize his strong ties with Haryana and encourages the people to consider him as one of their own. Kejriwal’s message to the electorate is clear: “Kejriwal belongs to Haryana; he is our son. If he has improved Delhi, give him a chance in Haryana. He will transform Haryana too”.
