The victims, Ayush (12) and Ahaan alias Honey (8), were mercilessly attacked multiple times with a sharp weapon, revealing a brutal assault that claimed their lives.

Accused Killed in Police Encounter

The tragedy unfolded when Sajid (22), known to the family, allegedly perpetrated the heinous crime, leaving the community in disbelief and mourning. Following the murders, law enforcement swiftly engaged in an encounter with the accused, resulting in Sajid’s demise. However, his brother, Javed, remains at large, prompting intensified efforts by authorities to bring him to justice.

Autopsy Details Unveiled

The autopsy reports paint a grim picture of the children’s ordeal, indicating that Ayush sustained 14 wounds while Ahaan had 9, totaling 23 brutal strikes. The ferocity of the attack is evident from the multiple wounds inflicted on their necks, backs, chests, and legs, suggesting a harrowing assault that spared no mercy.

Police Investigation Intensifies

In the wake of the tragedy, authorities have detained Babu, the father of the accused, and their uncle Kayamuddin for questioning. The ongoing investigation aims to unravel the motive behind the gruesome crime and apprehend the remaining perpetrator, Javed. Multiple teams are conducting rigorous raids and combing operations to ensure swift justice for the victims and their grieving family.

Magisterial Inquiry Launched

District Magistrate Manoj Kumar Singh has initiated a magisterial inquiry into the encounter, underscoring the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability.
