The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will meet party convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in Tihar jail today. Scheduled for around noon, this meeting follows a period of intense political drama, during which AAP accused authorities of stripping Kejriwal of his fundamental rights and subjecting him to unacceptable treatment behind bars.
Speaking at a press conference, senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh alleged blatant discrimination, highlighting the restricted nature of Kejriwal’s meetings compared to those of notorious criminals. Singh criticized the administration for allowing Kejriwal only a glass wall meeting with his wife and Mann, while criminals enjoyed face-to-face encounters.

The meeting, which took place at the office of Deputy Inspector General Rajiv Parihar in Tihar, commenced at 11 a.m. and concluded around 3 p.m., according to an official statement.
