Bihar: A police officer said that a coach of a goods train going on the down line derailed at Dumraon railway station in the Buxar district of Bihar on Monday night. According to the information, the goods train was on its way from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction to Fatuha via Buxar when the incident took place.
CPRO, East Central Railways (ECR) said,”Senior officials have been apprised about the incident and operations to restore the rail services began.” After receiving information about this a team of senior railway officials also reached to the spot to assess the situation. Railway staff also arrived at the spot and efforts to put the derailed coach back on track were on.
After the prime investigation, an official said that Four wheels of one of the coaches got derailed prompting the loco pilot to apply the emergency brake and stop the train. This is the second such case reported in Buxar district of Bihar in the last one week.
