BJP and NPP Support Naga People’s Front Candidate for Outer Manipur Seat

In an unprecedented move ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the National People’s Party (NPP) have pledged their support to Kachui Timothy Zimik, the candidate representing the Naga People’s Front (NPF) for the II-Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency.

In an unusual move before the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the National People’s Party (NPP) have decided to back Kachui Timothy Zimik, the candidate from the Naga People’s Front (NPF) for the II-Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency.

During his campaign launch, Timothy Zimik talked about bringing peace, development, and prosperity to Manipur. He stressed the importance of everyone working together, no matter their background, to solve the state’s problems.

“As a candidate supported by the NDA alliance, including the BJP and NPP, I am committed to bringing peace and improving the lives of people in Manipur,” Timothy said.

He asked people from all communities to support him, regardless of their political views. “I ask everyone in my constituency to vote for me, so I can represent your interests in the Lok Sabha,” he said.

Manipur will vote in two phases on April 19 and April 26 for the Lok Sabha elections. This support from the BJP and NPP shows a united effort to address the state’s challenges together.
