Rajasthan BJP has expelled Jitendra Meena, the former state president of the Scheduled Tribe Morcha, for contesting in the upcoming state election from the Bassi constituency against the officially declared BJP candidate. The expulsion comes as a result of a breach of discipline mentioned in Section 25 (9) of the Constitution of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The letter addressing Jitendra Meena was signed by Onkar Singh Lakhawat, the head of the state disciplinary committee in Rajasthan.
