Dehradun: In anticipation of the 2024 general elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to convene a crucial meeting on January 7th to strategize for the five Lok Sabha seats in Uttarakhand.
Prominent figures like BJP’s national vice-president Laxmikant Bajpai, Rajya Sabha MP Dushyant Gautam, and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami are slated to participate. Pradesh BJP president Mahendra Bhatt confirmed the attendance of present and former ministers, MPs, and essential state party members.
Mahendra Bhatt highlighted that the primary objective is to formulate a comprehensive action plan aimed at securing victories in all five Lok Sabha constituencies. Discussions will encompass local and national issues, logistical arrangements for leaders’ visits, and orchestrating rallies and events for star campaigners and organizational heads.
The BJP’s formidable track record in Uttarakhand sees them clinching all five Lok Sabha seats in both the 2014 and 2019 elections. As they set their sights on a third consecutive win, the party acknowledges the significant challenge ahead to maintain this electoral stronghold.
