Uttar Pradesh : A video capturing a brawl among members during a municipal council meeting in Uttar Pradesh has gone viral on social media after being shared by Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. The footage reveals a tense situation at the Shamli Municipal Council meeting, with a verbal dispute escalating into a physical altercation.
Akhilesh Yadav took to social media to share the video, mocking the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and advising attendees to ensure their own security at review meetings. He commented, “When no development work has been done, then what else could have happened in the review meeting? That is why physical blows were exchanged among the councilors in Shamli. Lesson of BJP rule: Come to the review meeting after arranging your own security.”
