Watch: Indian NDRF rescues girl, 6, buried under the debris in quake-hit Turkey

India's National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) deployed in Turkey for relief operations on Thursday successfully rescued a 6-year-old from under the debris of destroyed buildings in the Gaziantep region. According to sources, about 19332 people have died so far due to the earthquake in Turkey and Syria on 6 February. The number of injured is around 40 thousand.

Sixth flight under India’s Operation Dost reaches Turkey; death toll above 15,000

On Thursday morning, The sixth flight under the mission 'Operation Dost' with more search and rescue operation teams arrived in quake-hit Turkey, informed External minister S Jaishankar. India launched 'Operation Dost' to extend assistance to Turkey as well as Syria following Monday's devastating quake that left behind a trail of deaths and destruction in the two countries.

Strong earthquake in Turkey for the 5th time, over 4800 deaths so far

A fifth earthquake struck eastern Turkey as the country grapples with widespread devastation and the death toll reaches 5,000. The European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) said that an earthquake of magnitude 5.7 occurred on Tuesday. According to the Associated Press, 5000 people have died so far due to earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
