Gorakhpur: An official said that two people died after a speeding car rammed them while they were walking on the roadside in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. After receiving information about this incident local police reached the on spot.
According to the information, one was battling for his life in this incident. In the CCTV footage, three people, identified as Moeen, Akil Ahmed and Tahir. They are seen walking on the side of a deserted road in the dead of the night.
About this incident, police said that Suddenly, a speeding car is seen coming and ramming them, before speeding away. The impact was so strong that the victims were tossed in the air for a while and fell on the road. Police added that While Moeen and Akil Ahmed died and Tahir’s condition was critical.
A senior police official Jitendra Kumar Sing said that a case has been registered under sections 124, 125, 279, 304, 337 and 338 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).He added that the car make and its driver have not been identified yet and an investigation into the matter was on.
