Chhattisgarh assembly elections 2023: AAP releases 4th list of 12 candidates for upcoming polls

Raipur: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its fourth list for the Chhattisgarh assembly elections late on Sunday night. The party has fielded 12 candidates in its fourth list. The party has so far announced 45 candidates for the 90-seat assembly. The party has fielded Dev Ganesh from Samari, Alexander from Lundra, Munna Tappo from Sitapur, Prakash Tappo from Jashpur.

Raipur: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its fourth list for the Chhattisgarh assembly elections late on Sunday night. The party has fielded 12 candidates in its fourth list. The party has so far announced 45 candidates for the 90-seat assembly.

The party had earlier announced the names of 10 candidates in its first list, 12 in the second and 11 in the third list. It is known that earlier the ruling Congress also released its third list, in which the party fielded seven candidates.

The seats for which the Aam Aadmi Party has announced candidates include Samri, Lundra, Sitapur Jashpur, Raigad, Pali-Tankhar, Janjgir Champa, Khallari, Baloda Bazar, Raipur Uttar, Arang and Bindragarh assembly constituencies.

The party has fielded Dev Ganesh from Samari, Alexander from Lundra, Munna Tappo from Sitapur, Prakash Tappo from Jashpur, Gopal Bapudia from Raigarh, Sobaram Singh from Pali-Tankhar, Parameshwar Prasad from Janjgir Champa seat, Neelam Dhruv from Khallari, Santosh Yadu from Baloda Bazar, Raipur. Aam Aadmi Party has given chance to Uttar Vijay Gurubakshani, Arang Parmanand Jangde and Bhagirath Manjhi from Bindragarh seat. ‘Aap’ has shared the entire list on X.

In Chhattisgarh voting will be in two phases. The first phase of voting for 20 seats in the state will be held on November 7, 2023, while the remaining 70 seats will go to polls on November 17. Counting of votes will be done on December 3. It is known that the term of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly is going to end on 3 January 2024. In the last elections, the Congress won 68 seats out of the total 90 assembly seats, while the BJP came second with 15 seats.
