The idol of Lord Ram was ceremoniously placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The first glimpse of the veiled idol was shared during the placement ceremony ., with photos shared by Sharad Sharma, media in-charge of Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

Vedic Brahmins and revered Acharyas conducted worship ceremonies within the sacred precincts of the Sri Ram Temple. Members of the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra also actively participated in the prayers.

The ‘Ram Lalla’ idol, crafted by renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj from Karnataka, stands at 51 inches tall and weighs 1.5 tonnes. The idol portrays Lord Ram as a five-year-old child standing on a lotus, also carved from the same stone.
