Dehradun : An alarming chlorine gas leak occurred in the Jhanjra area of Prem Nagar police station in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, leading to the evacuation of residents on Tuesday morning. Panic ensued as locals experienced breathing difficulties, prompting swift action from emergency services.
Upon receiving information about the gas leak, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), along with police, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and the fire brigade, rushed to the scene to manage the situation.
