Delhi to get relief for 4 days, rain again from July 15, IMD issues yellow alert

The Meteorological Department has forecast that the weather will remain more or less like this for three days. Delhi's maximum temperature on Tuesday was three notches below normal at 32.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was three notches below normal at 24.4 degrees Celsius.

New Delhi: Delhi weather remained relatively clear on Tuesday after heavy rains for several consecutive days. The hide and seek between the clouds and the sun lasted the whole day, but there was no rain anywhere. A slight increase in temperature was also observed.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that the weather will remain more or less like this for three days. Delhi’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was three notches below normal at 32.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was three notches below normal at 24.4 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level in the air was 100 to 74. As far as rain is concerned, drizzle was seen only on Lodhi Road. The Meteorological Department has forecast that it will be cloudy throughout the day on Wednesday as well. Light rain with thunder clouds is forecast. Maximum and minimum temperature respectively 34 and 26.

During this time day and night temperature may also increase slightly. On the other hand, Skymet Weather’s Vice President (Meteorology and Climate Change) Mahesh Palawat told that the axis of monsoon, which is currently north of Delhi, is expected to shift back to the south of Delhi by the end of the week. Due to this, once again there may be good rains in Delhi and surrounding areas. With good rains, the temperature will also drop.

Due to the weather, the air of the capital has been blowing clean for five consecutive days. Delhi’s air quality index was only 69 on Tuesday as well. This level of air is kept in the “satisfactory” category. The day before on Monday it was 65. The Meteorological Department estimates that the level of air quality will remain around this for the next several days.
