Delhi wakes up to rain lashes several parts of the city; Yellow alert issued; Know full weather forecast

According to the Meteorological Department, the same condition is going to remain in the capital for the next 6 days and there may be heavy rains for two days. Heavy rain has been predicted in Delhi on July 11 and 12. Due to the rain, there will be a big drop in the temperature. IMD has issued an alert for heavy rains in UP-Bihar for the next two days.

New Delhi: It is raining with strong wind in the entire NCR including the capital Delhi. It has been thickly cloudy since morning and there was lightning at many places. It rained suddenly in the national capital on Wednesday evening. Due to the rain, the residents of Delhi got relief from the humidity. The Meteorological Department has forecast for Delhi that the same condition will prevail for the whole week, sometimes light and sometimes heavy rain will continue in the next week as well. Meanwhile, there was light rain in some areas of Delhi on Thursday morning and the weather was pleasant.

Light rain will continue in Delhi for the next six days. It may rain heavily on Saturday. Yellow alert has also been issued regarding this. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a decrease in the temperature of Delhi in the next few days.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder in Delhi till July 10. At the same time, heavy rains have been predicted on July 11 and 12. Due to the rain, there will be a big drop in the temperature.

Ever since the onset of monsoon in Uttar Pradesh, continuous rains have been going on in the state. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, on July 6, there may be rain with thunder and lightning at many places in western UP, while there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning at some places in eastern UP. Similarly, on July 7, it is expected to rain with thunder and lightning in western UP, during this time there are chances of rain with thunder and lightning at some places in eastern Uttar Pradesh.

According to the Meteorological Department, on July 8, there may be rain with thunderstorms at many places in western UP, during this time heavy rains are expected in eastern UP as well. Apart from this, on July 9, it may rain with thunder and lightning at almost all places in western Uttar Pradesh.

Heavy rain for two days in Bihar
Due to the arrival of monsoon, it is raining heavily in Bihar. In many districts, the rain has created a flood-like situation. On the other hand, IMD has issued an alert of heavy rain for the next two days.

In the next 24 hours, there is a warning of heavy rain in nine districts of Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Darbhanga, Jamui, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj and Banka. At the same time, there may be light to moderate rains in other districts including Patna for the next 5 days.

Chance of heavy rain in many districts of Dehradun
Bikram Singh, director of Dehradun Meteorological Center, said about the rain for Dehradun and surrounding areas that there are chances of rain in the state for two days. There is a possibility of heavy rains in the surrounding districts of Dehradun. These areas have been kept in the Orange Zone. Today, 90 mm of rain has been recorded in Dehradun in 1 hour. People need to be alert. There will be reduction in rains on July 7-8.

Heavy rain alert in UP too
Heavy rain alert has also been issued in UP for today and for the next 4 days. Even today it is raining in many districts, due to which the weather has become pleasant.

Warning in MP and Chhattisgarh as well
Monsoon has started showing its effect in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain for the next 3 days for both the states.

IMD’s ‘red’ alert in Goa
The IMD has issued a ‘red’ alert for Goa, predicting heavy rainfall in parts of both the districts of the coastal state on Thursday.

The Meteorological Department has predicted inundation of houses in low-lying areas, falling of vulnerable trees and buildings, local and short-term disruption of essential services and reduced visibility during heavy rains.

Waterlogging seen in many parts of Gujarat
Since the arrival of monsoon in Gujarat, Gujarat has been witnessing heavy rains and floods. The India Meteorological Department said on Thursday that more rain is likely in the state. Heavy rain is expected in Gujarat’s Dang, Valsad, Surat, Tapi and Dadranagar Haveli. Similar weather has been predicted over Saurashtra and North Gujarat today. There is a possibility of light rain in Ahmedabad as well.

Water-logging was observed in Nadiad and Aravalli areas of Gujarat. Four people were rescued by Nadiad Fire Brigade officials after a car got stuck in water due to waterlogging in an underpass in Nadiad.
