People who have bought electric vehicles in the state after October 14, 2022, can apply online on the portal to get subsidy from the Yogi government. According to information, the Uttar Pradesh government’s web site upevsubsidy.in for electric vehicles in Uttar Pradesh will be operational in a few days, after which electric vehicle owners can apply for subsidy on this portal. . According to Principal Secretary Transport, Electric Vehicle Manufacturing and Mobility Policy 2022 has been approved in Uttar Pradesh, subsidy incentive scheme has also been kept, after which from 14 October 2022 to 13 October 2023.

Subsidy up to 1 lakh for four wheeler electric vehicles

According to the Electric Vehicle Manufacturing and Mobility Policy 2022, 15% subsidy will be given to those vehicles which are purchased from the electronic vehicle factory. At the same time, subsidy up to 5000 will be given to the first two lakh electric two wheelers. Apart from this, subsidy of up to 1 lakh will be given to 25000 four wheeler electric vehicles.

Similarly, the first 400 e-buses purchased in the state will get a subsidy of Rs 20 lakh per e-bus. One thousand e-goods carriers will get a rebate of one lakh rupees per vehicle. Not only this, from October 14, 2022, tax and registration fees will not have to be paid on the purchase of e-vehicles for three years. Those who have paid tax and registration fees, their money will be returned to their account.
