Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Announces Significant Increase in Monthly Honorarium for Anganwadi Workers, Making Haryana the Highest-Paying State for Such Workers in the Country.

During the “CM ki Vishesh Charcha” program, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced a substantial increase in the monthly honorarium for anganwadi workers. Those with over 10 years of experience will now receive Rs 14,000 per month, while those with up to 10 years of experience will receive Rs 12,500.

Additionally, the remuneration for anganwadi helpers has been increased to Rs 7,500 per month.

Currently, anganwadi workers with over 10 years of experience receive Rs 12,661, those with up to 10 years receive Rs 11,401, and helpers receive Rs 6,781.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced that the monthly honorarium for anganwadi workers with over 10 years of experience would be increased to Rs 14,000, Rs 12,500 for those with up to 10 years of experience, and Rs 7,500 for anganwadi helpers. Additionally, the retirement amount for workers will be increased to Rs 2 lakh, and for helpers to Rs 1 lakh.

Anganwadi workers and helpers, who currently receive Rs 800 per annum for two uniform sets, will see an increase to Rs 1,500 per annum. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also announced that 25% of supervisor posts would be reserved for promotion on a merit-cum-seniority basis from workers with 10 years of experience.

This promotion will be based on eligibility and minimum qualifications, and a written examination will be conducted.
