Heavy rain started in Delhi-NCR, pleasant weather; People got relief from the heat

Monsoon arrived in the national capital Delhi on June 25, following which light to moderate rainfall occurred at many places. It has rained for 15 days so far in the month of June.

Delhi-Ncr : It is raining heavily in most of the states of the country. Due to the heavy rains in the plains, people have got relief from the heat. Whereas in the national capital Delhi, the process of rain had started a week ago. Because of which people are not feeling the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rains with thunderstorms in Delhi on Thursday. There is a possibility of heavy rain with lightning in Delhi till July 4. At the same time, the maximum temperature is expected to be 36 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 26 degree Celsius. In Uttar Pradesh too, the IMD has predicted rain in 31 districts of the state. Yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department in these districts.

However, at some places people are facing problems like waterlogging. The rains in the hilly areas have become a disaster for the people. According to the Meteorological Department, the intensity of Jhajjam rains may continue till June 29 and is likely to reduce gradually from June 30.

According to the Skymet Weather report, today there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, parts of Gujarat, Konkan and Goa and Coastal Karnataka. Light to moderate rain with heavy to very heavy falls very likely over Northeast India, eastern parts of Bihar, parts of Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Lakshadweep.
