Hemant Soren, who was detained in connection with an alleged land scam, appeared with a long mustache and white beard, mirroring the iconic look of his father.
Hemant Soren’s emergence from jail came as he obtained court permission to attend the Shraddha rites of his uncle, Rajaram Soren, in his ancestral village Nemra. Accompanied by his wife, Kalpana, Hemant Soren sought blessings from his father, Shibu Soren, during his brief release from custody.
