New Delhi: In Himachal Pradesh, a Bolero vehicle fell into a deep gorge in Kushala area under BSL police station of Mandi district. In this accident, 5 people died, while 4 were seriously injured. Those who have been admitted to the medical college after being taken out of the deep ditch early morning of Friday and taken to the road.
According to the information, some people were returning after visiting Kamrunag temple under BSL police station area. As soon as his Bolero vehicle number HP 31-8349 reached near Kushala village, it lost control and fell into a deep gorge. In this accident, 5 people riding Bolero died on the spot, while four were seriously injured and have been admitted to the Medical College Nerchowk.
As soon as the police and the local people came to know about the incident, they reached the spot and took the dead bodies from the ditch to the road. But due to the darkness late in the night, the police and the local people had to face a lot of problems.
Under the leadership of DSP Dinesh Kumar, the team of BSL police station and the local people reached the spot and engaged in relief work. But due to darkness, the relief work had to face difficulties and after hard work, the bodies of the injured and the dead were taken to the road.
Driver Anil Dutt (51) son of late Roop Chand village Kolthi, Sanjeev Kumar (38) son of Keshav Dutt village Panjrah, Kirpa Ram (38) son of Majru Ram village Paudakothi, Kamal Kumar (22) of Tula Ram village Doladhar were injured in the accident. The deceased have been identified as Lala Ram (50) s/o Gangu Ram village Doldhar, Roop Lal (50) s/o Paras Ram village Doldhar, Sunil Kumar (36) s/o Beshar Ram village Panjrah, Gobind Ram (60) s/o Raghuram village Doldhar, Mohan (50) Son Kirpa Ram village Kushala has died.
On the other hand, Vinod Kumar, MLA of Nachan Assembly Constituency, reached Civil Hospital Sundernagar and Medical College Nerchowk late night to know the condition of the injured and assured them of all possible help. Along with this, he also expressed grief over the death of 5 people.
Confirming the matter, DSP Sundernagar Dinesh Kumar said that the police have registered the case and investigation is on. The reasons for the accident are also being ascertained.
