Himachal Pradesh: On Friday, an official said that a fire broke out in a cosmetic factory in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. According to the information, 15-20 workers, including women, are reportedly trapped inside the cosmetic manufacturing factory.
Solan Deputy Commissioner Manmohan Sharma said,“The Himachal Pradesh administration is on alert and a team of the National DIsaster Relief Force (NDRF) is also expected to reach the spot.” Videos of the aftermath of the fire have surfaced, showing a woman trapped on the roof.
According to information received by police,the incident happened at Jadamajari in Baddi, an industrial town in Himachal Pradesh. A major fire has broken out in a factory manufacturing cosmetic products. A large number of workers are trapped in this.
After receiving information about this incident, six fire engines from Baddi and Nalagarh have reached the spot to control the fire. NDRF team has reached the spot for rescue and rescue. According to the police, the cause of the fire is not known.
Some videos of the incident have also surfaced after the fire, in which people are seen running out of the factory. The eyewitnesses stated that the thick smoke oozing from the cosmetic material was hindering the fire-fighting operations and workers have climbed on top of the building for safety. In a video, a person is seen saying that 15-20 people are trapped inside the factory.
