IMD forecast issues orange alert in these 12 states and red alert in 2 state

New Delhi: IMD forecast predicts, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall at different places in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh today. In view of this, Red Alert has been done in both these states. New Delhi: IMD forecast predicts, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall at different places in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh today. In view of this, Red Alert has been done in both these states. While Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, there may be heavy to very heavy rains at different places. Orange alert has been issued for heavy rains in these states today.

According to IMD’s weather bulletin today, isolated rain is also seen in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa and Madhya Maharashtra. Heavy rain may occur at isolated places. Heavy rainfall is expected in Delhi-NCR today. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), it is going to rain heavily in many areas of North India on July 9 and Delhi-NCR is also included in them. Today, Delhi-NCR is also among the areas where Orange Alert has been issued due to heavy monsoon rains.

According to IMD, on July 9, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bihar, Jharkhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, Delhi, Rajasthan Lightening and thundershower is expected at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. According to IMD, today the maximum temperature in Delhi is going to remain only up to 30 degree Celsius. On July 8, it rained heavily in Delhi and the maximum temperature was only 28.7°C, which was 8°C less than normal.

IMD said that 45-55 km in the adjoining parts of west central and southwest and east central Arabian Sea. From per hour to 65 km. There is a possibility of strong wind up to hourly. The speed of the storm is 40-45 kmph in the Northeast Arabian Sea along the Karnataka-Maharashtra-Gujarat coasts. From 50 km per hour There is a possibility of reaching per hour. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into these areas.
